One life to walk.
A whole-life framework for becoming more like Jesus, and helping others do the same, in family, church, and society.
And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
Discipleship is not a ladder to climb. It is a way of life to walk.
The waypoints are not a checklist. They are recurring places of formation, each one deepening the others as you gather, grow, serve, and multiply.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Ground
Establish Christ's disciples with instruction in Scripture, prayer, the gospel, obedience, and a biblical understanding of family, church, and civic responsibility, all centered in Christ Jesus.
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Grow
Develop spiritual maturity and leadership through mentorship, accountability, practical teaching, service opportunities, and personal application in the home, church, and community.
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Serve
Mobilize disciples to serve their families, strengthen their local churches, meet real community needs, and represent Jesus with integrity in private and public life.
For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Go
Send trained disciple leaders into homes, workplaces, churches, neighborhoods, and nations to share the gospel and make disciples.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Multiply
Raise leaders who can disciple others, establish new Waypoint communities, strengthen families and churches, and carry the mission forward across generations.
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
